Our Team
Jonathan Powell’s story is one of early initiative, practical thinking, and a consistent belief that true success comes from understanding and serving customers well. At just 16, he demonstrated this mindset by winning a national design competition—focusing not just on creativity, but on delivering a practical, cost-effective solution to a real problem. This ability to think from the end-user’s perspective became a defining trait throughout his career.
Leaving traditional education at 18, Jonathan built his first business, Direct Produce, by going door-to-door and engaging directly with customers. These early experiences shaped his strong appreciation for relationships, reliability, and quality. By listening to customers and maintaining high standards, he grew the business organically, proving that customer trust and satisfaction are the foundation of growth.
This philosophy carried through to The Hot Potato, which he took over at 19. By focusing on consistent quality, value, and excellent service, he built a loyal customer base and expanded the business. Even during challenging economic times, his commitment to customer satisfaction remained unwavering.
Later, in corporate roles, Jonathan’s frustration stemmed from not being able to deliver the level of service he knew customers deserved. This ultimately led him to establish Digihub Wales—built entirely around his core belief that businesses succeed when customer focus drives every decision. Today, its success reflects his lifelong commitment to delivering reliable service, building strong relationships, and always putting the customer first.
Andrew brings over 36 years of technical expertise in office automation, specialising in the service, maintenance, and repair of multi-function devices. Originally from South Africa, he began his career as an apprentice engineer working on Panasonic, Sharp, and Nashuatec equipment, quickly progressing into workshop and field service roles where he developed a deep understanding of complex systems and customer environments.
Renowned for his technical problem-solving ability, Andrew built a strong reputation for diagnosing and resolving issues others could not, turning unreliable devices into dependable assets for customers. His leadership capabilities led to his appointment as Field Service Manager, where he successfully oversaw and supported a large team of engineers responsible for maintaining extensive device fleets.
Since relocating to Wales in 2004, Andrew has held a number of senior roles, including Area Supervisor, Team Leader, Managed Print Service Manager, and Technical Specialist. During the Covid pandemic, he transitioned into remote software support, specialising in PaperCut and supporting critical organisations such as the NHS to maintain essential print services.
Now heading the service department at DigiHub Wales, Andrew combines deep technical knowledge with strong leadership to ensure his team is responsive, efficient, and a customer-focused service operation. His experience, professionalism, and commitment to excellence play a key role in maintaining DigiHub Wales’ reputation for outstanding customer support.
Rosie has lived in Wales for over twenty years, following her studies at Aberystwyth University, and has developed strong connections within the local community. Through raising her family and learning the Welsh language, she has gained a deep appreciation for Welsh culture and values.
She brings extensive senior management experience, having held leadership roles in education and previously serving as Managing Director of a musical instrument manufacturing company. These roles honed her skills in strategic planning, operational management, and stakeholder engagement across both UK and international markets.
As Operations Director at DigiHub Wales, Rosie oversees the smooth running of the business with a clear focus on service excellence. She ensures the service and support teams operate efficiently, maintaining the high standards of customer care that the company is known for. Her leadership drives operational performance, team development, and continuous improvement, ensuring DigiHub Wales consistently delivers reliable, professional, and customer-focused solutions.
